"ADAM + EVE"
Building unisex fashion with normcore references.
Tribute to my grandmother, her passion for flowers and fashion.

My timeline starts in 4004 before J.-C. With Adam and Eve, the «roots of all human being »  claimed by the Christian bible. It finishes today, in the crowded streets of regular people, what they were and how they do.

Looking at the trend that comes out of it. Normcore. Aesthetic of normality, Normcore is the trend of the non-trend. Simply inspired by casual wear in the street. We can define it like a way to dress-out that involves the deliberate choice of unremarkable or unfashionable casual clothes.

Why « Adam and Eve » as an inspiration for my collection ?

In a first time, I built my concept on love.
Love of two human being. Casualty and purity.
Broken by an apple bite.
Adam and Eve were simply angry, I suppose.

Forbidden fruit. ‘The original sin’ is committed.
And Adam and Eve are now naked.

From the first human, to the last.
From only being wearing a leaf, to wear casual garments.
From a leaf, to all the extravaganzas of all centuries and times, what is the trend today?
Is there still one? For us, the new Adams and Eves of 2019?

I built my collection on the idea of non-trend, keeping it simplistic, wearable for both men and women. And so, creating unisex fashion, a same wardrobe for men’s and women’s.

Besides, I was willing to keep some major fashion codes such as femininity, fluidity but also masculinity and roughness. I have also mainly used biodegradable materials with natural treatments (silks laces, cotton denims, and leather left-overs from fashion houses).
